Feature: Labor rates

The right rate for every customer.

Short answer: MetaFleet keeps a shop labor rate table with tiers, then lets you override it for a service area or a single customer company. Time-of-day and holiday rates sit on top, so the invoice picks the right rate from where, when and for whom the work was done, and a parts markup matrix does the same for parts on account and non-account customers.

How it works

Step by step.

  1. Base rates. Tiers for the kinds of labor you sell.
  2. Area overrides. A different rate for a service area.
  3. Customer overrides. Contract rates for one company.
  4. Time and holidays. Night, weekend and holiday rates.

Questions

Can one fleet get a contract rate?

Yes. A company override replaces the standard rate for that customer.

Are parts priced the same way?

Parts use a markup matrix with separate rules for account and non-account customers.
