Your shop data, your rules.

Short answer: Each person in MetaFleet sees only what their role allows. The AI connector uses each person's own login and permissions, can be set read-only, logs every change and can be revoked. MetaFleet states it does not let its AI providers train their models on shop data.

How it works

Step by step.

  1. Role-based access. Each person sees only what their role allows: billing for the office, their own jobs for a technician.
  2. Your own account. Shop data stays in the shop's own MetaFleet account.
  3. AI connector keys per person. A private key tied to one login; switch it off and access stops.
  4. Read-only first. Keys can be set read-only; changes are allowed only when you choose, and every change is logged.

Questions

Is our data used to train AI models?

MetaFleet states that it does not let its third-party AI providers use shop data to train their own models. If you connect ChatGPT, Claude or Perplexity, that provider's own settings apply to your chats.

Are calls recorded?

Calls on MetaFleet phone lines can be recorded and scored. Recording laws vary by state and some require every caller's consent, so check your state before turning recording on.
