Feature: Statements and collections
Get paid on the whole balance.
Short answer: MetaFleet groups a customer's open invoices on one statement and takes one payment that is applied across many orders. Customers are set up on account with net terms or as collect on delivery, multi-location fleets can be flagged as enterprise accounts, a card hold can be placed before the truck rolls, late fees wait for a review, and credits and write-offs are recorded against the right invoice before AR aging shows who still owes.
How it works
Step by step.
- Set the terms. On account with net terms, or collect on delivery.
- Send a statement. Every open invoice on one page.
- Apply one payment. Card, ACH or a recorded check across orders.
- Clean the ledger. Credits, write-offs and AR aging.
Questions
Can a customer be a multi-location fleet?
Yes. Customer accounts can be flagged as enterprise, multi-location fleets.
Can I hold a card before the job?
Yes. A card hold is placed for collect-on-delivery customers and applied to the invoice; it is held, not charged.
Do late fees post on their own?
Late fees and interest follow the brand's policy and wait for a review before they post.
