Feature: Appointments and bays
Every truck has a slot.
Short answer: MetaFleet keeps a shop calendar of appointments for PM, inspections, repairs, towing and combined PM plus inspection visits. Each appointment can hold a bay, customer requests from the portal wait for the shop to confirm or decline, arrival records the odometer or engine-hours reading, and missed appointments are marked as no-shows.
How it works
Step by step.
- Request or book. From the portal, or by the office.
- Pick a bay. Bays are scheduled like technicians.
- Check the unit in. Arrival logs mileage or engine hours.
- Close the loop. Completed, rescheduled or no-show.
Questions
Can customers request their own appointments?
Yes. Requests from the customer portal arrive as pending, and the shop confirms or declines them.
Can one visit cover PM and an inspection?
Yes. A combined PM plus inspection appointment books both on one visit.
